Pepita was founded in New York City by a Chilean entrepreneur. Our permanent Business Representative office in the U.S. is based in New York City and We act as the representative Agent for growers from Chile selling and shipping their Fruit directly to buyers. 

Our mission is to find buyers in the U.S. for our growers and facilitate the direct trading between them. 

We focus in establishing and building strong and long-lasting relationships

between growers and buyers.

Jorge is originally from Chile and living in New York City since 1998. He is the entrepreneur who created and founded Pepita Export, named in the memory of his beloved mother nicknamed Pepita.

He got involved in the Produce business after 20 years working in the Hospitality and Restaurant Business in New York City, Jorge decided to use all his culinary background and Restaurant Management experience to start a new business venture in the Produce Import and Export Industry. During the past 7 years he has been working as an Independent Broker selling Fresh Fruit from Chile in the U.S. He has an innate ability for Business, Public Relations, Customer Service and Sales.

Jorge is responsible for finding Buyers in the U.S. for Growers from Chile and he is responsible for building and developing commercial relationships between them.

Pepita was founded in the U.S. but its heart belongs to Chile. We have our main operation in Chile where we source and find Global G.A.P. Certified Growers committed only to the highest standards in farming practices and quality produce.  We help our Growers to establish commercial relationships directly with Buyers in the U.S. We assist them with their Export logistics and we make sure only the finest fruit is shipped efficiently in a safe manner to Buyers in the U.S.

Rodrigo is from Ovalle - Chile, He is one of the co-founders of Pepita Exports. Rodrigo is an Agricultural Engineer and Agronomist graduated from the prestigious Chilean University "Universidad de Chile". He holds an MBA degree. He has a long and distinguished professional career in the Agroindustry in Chile where he has held senior management positions in different Agricultural and Export companies as well as in Agriculture Government offices and Agencies. He has served as external consultant and advisor for Top Chilean Consulting Firms and Government Agencies such as CORFO, SERCOTEC and PRO CHILE. He has been linked to the wine and produce business for more than 25 years. He has an extensive knowledge in business management and marketing in the Chilean market as well as international markets. 

Rodrigo is responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with our network of Growers in Chile. Rodrigo assist Growers with Quality Fruit inspections and Food safety during processing and he helps them with their Export Logistics process.
